Incoloy 330 T-Beam can be age – hardened by adding aluminum and titanium. Incoloy 330 Chain offers comparable corrosion resistance to its sister alloy Incoloy 825 Chain, but with the increased strength resulting from the age hardening process. On the other hand, molybdenum and copper in Alloy 330 Angle are added to increase its resistance to corrosive media.
High – speed steel tooling in Alloy 330 C-Channel should be used for interrupted cuts and for smooth finishing and closing tolerance. Alloy 330 H-Beam can as well be used in high – strength piping systems and petroleum industry. In both oxidizing and reducing environments, Alloy 330 I-Beam resists general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, inter – granular corrosion and stress – corrosion cracking. Alloy 330 T-Beam is generally used in gas turbine engine parts, well head completion equipment and blow out preventers (BOP’s).
