These Stainless Steel 304H Plates is nickel – chromium – molybdenum products designed for welding stainless steel to itself and to other materials. Compositions of Stainless Steel 304H Coils deposited weld metals from both products are highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation and have high strength and toughness from the cryogenic range to 1800 Degree F. These SS 304H Sheets require no post weld heat treatments to maintain their high strength and ductility.
When used to weld SS 304H Plates to dissimilar metals, both products tolerate a high degree of dilution yet maintain characteristic properties. The higher alloy content of these SS 304H Coils offsets the effects of elemental segregation in weldments which can result in preferential weld corrosion. Stainless Steel 304H Slating Coils is designed for use with the gas – tungsten – arc and various gas – metal arc processes.

The high molybdenum content also makes these Stainless Steel 304H Perforated Coils very resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion, and niobium acts to stabilize the alloy against sensitization during welding, thereby preventing subsequent inter – granular cracking. All standard machining operations in Alloy 304H Plates may be performed on best machinability is obtained in the solution – treated condition.
