Stainless Steel 310H Sheets are often produced in “Dual Certified” form, which generally are recommended for fusion welding. These Stainless Steel 310H Plates may have a carbon content below 0.04 % which will not be acceptable for some high temperature applications. Stainless Steel 310H Coils is often used in Furnace parts, Oil burner parts, Carburizing boxes, Heat Treatment baskets and jigs, Heat exchangers, Welding filler wire and electrodes.
These Stainless Steel 310H Slating Coils are subject to stress corrosion cracking but more resistant than Grades 304 or 316. The molybdenum in Stainless Steel 310H Perforated Coils gives better overall corrosion resistant properties, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. These SS 310H Sheets is the standard molybdenum-bearing austenitic grade, second stainless steel in importance to 304. The austenitic structure of SS 310H Plates gives excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.

These SS 310H Coils is readily brake or roll formed, welded, soldered and cut by both thermal and mechanical methods. 310H Stainless Steel Sheets is highly resistant to sensitization (grain boundary carbide precipitation) and so is extensively used in heavy gauge welded components (about 5mm and over). These 310H Stainless Steel Coils, with its higher carbon content has some application at elevated temperatures.
