A hold time at the annealing temperature of 10 minutes to 30 minutes is recommended for these Alloy Steel T11 EFW Tubes; depending on the thickness of the structure (thicker structures need the full 30 minutes). The most deleterious of certain alternate phases in these Alloy Steel T11 Rectangular Tubes, forms quickly at certain temperatures, affects ductility, and reduces resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
