Our Monel 400 Cross Pipe Fittings (UNS N04400) is a nickel – copper alloy with good strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a range of media especially sea water, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and alkalis. Monel 400 Bend Pipe Fittings is a solid – solution alloy that can be hardened only by cold working, where nickel and copper form a solid solution in all compositions.
These Monel 400 Stub End can be fabricated readily by hot – and cold – working, machining, and welding. Thus, Monel 400 End Cap Pipe Fittings can only be hardened by further rolling, while showing excellent corrosion resistance, which is higher than that of pure nickel in reduced environments and better than that of copper in oxidizing environments.
