Austenitic SS 410 Woven Wire Mesh are not harden able by heat treatment, which further refer to the lower carbon content to allow for greater corrosion protection when welding. Stainless Steel 410 Spring Steel Wire Mesh is austenitic steel containing 18 % – 20% chromium and 8 % – 10% nickel. SS 410 Fencing Wire Mesh is not subject to embrittlement or loss of corrosion resistance in the heat – affected zones that affects many other straight chromium alloys.
410 Stainless Steel Wire Mesh is especially valuable for applications requiring high – temperature scaling resistance and for those applications where it gives only marginal protection. SS 410 Wire Mesh is not usually used at temperatures exceeding 800 Degree F (427 Degree C) due to quick hardening and loss of corrosion resistance.
